Ok, so that’s what I plan to buy tomorrow: let-collar ID TagsCarrying-Crate (Is it OK to double what a regular box? It is a Chihuahua, for it falls well) Puppy Food-BowlsGrooming accessories (nail clippers, shampoos, brushes) Toys-carpet-Training-treated sleeping Reinig other suggestions or lack something for me?

sounds like it but if u dont know how to train a dog might want to get a book on it
Good job it looks like you have your bases covered…good luck with your new friend….
And love
You might want to get a puppy play yard or some gates to confine it until you can trust it not to soil your house or hurt itself exploring.
Get some puppy potty training pads. I’ve used them for my dogs and they worked great. Have fun with your new family member
Looks like you’ve got everything. And yes the crate could double up as long as she has plenty of room.
What is she going to go to the toilet on though? Are you getting training pads or newspaper for accidents indoors?
I’m just guessing that your puppy isn’t trained? Well, you should get some Potty Pads. You can train your puppy to use the pads for pooping and peeing. Unless, you want to train your puppy to go outside? It’s really up to you. By what your wrote, you have pretty much everything. Also, just in case, (This is an option) Some puppies my buds have really get cold sometimes. I don’t know much about Chihuahuas but, you an possibly get a small sweater. It helps a lot. You pretty much have a grade A list
Oh wait! Get some flea protection for your pup. It’s an option. (You got to be cautious about that.) You can find them in PetSmart and other pet stores. I Hope I helped
I think you have it all! Have fun with ur pup! But you might need to schedule an appointment if he/she needs to be neutered/spayed or if it needs to get its shots.
if it is a chihuahua, you may not need it, cause you can make it out of a shoe box – one of my best investments besides the crate was the puppy play pen.
i got two dogs and to be able to confine them in a small space was a good thing for the first weeks.
later you can use it as gate, in case they are not allowed to go up the stairs or something like that.
good job though! list looks complete
If you are on facebook I would recommend you have a look at my dog trainer’s newest puppy’s page: search for: Garry the Caviler King Charles Spaniel and have at look at the very first note they have posted as it has EVERYTHING they have bought for their pup.
They have created that page to show other puppy owners how dog trainers raise a dog.
It sound like everything you need! You should get a book about Chihuahuas or go online and research it so you will know more about it. Here is a very helpful website that will help you with about everything.

Hope this is helpful!!!
your list sounds pretty good, maybe a suggestion if your pup does not like the collar, a harness is also great to own…oh and also all treats can be training treats
i recommend for pups, milk bone puppy treats! 12 vitamins and minerals in each bone lol also can buy puppy toothpaste & toothbrush at pet smart! great for chihuahuas! their breed always has bad breath issues lol
don’t forget to know a vet who will care for all your puppies health needs. otherwise you sound solid
(and love+patience+time to care for it+money for vet bills and more food and toys)
Sounds Great! I just have one liitle tip that might be helpful.
If you are planning on leaving you dog in the crate at night to sleep, i highly suggest leaving an old t shirt of a person who the dog is most attached to and comfortable with in the cage. Simply wear it for a day with no perfume or cologne and then leave it in the dogs cage. This will help the dog with any fear or separation anxiety it migh have in its new home. The dog will pick up the person’s scent and will feel more comfortable.
I did this with my dog when i first got him and it worked well.
Hope this helps Good Luck!
