Hello! First off if you are getting a baby beardy then you dont need to worry alot about veggies. As they reach adult age they eat 80% veggie 20% insect diet. As babies it is the other way around. It is best to have 2 beardies because they tend to get lonely and I have read that it can actually be considered a form of naglect to not have multiple beardies. As far as crickets and cricket food goes be careful! If you read the ingredients on the food for crickets it usually contains plastic. Crickets are the lowest on the nutrition level as well. The best source of insect for a beardie as far as nutrients goes is hornworms. They can be purchased online as babies and adults. 1 equals the nutrition of like 20 crickets! Make sure the vitamins and calcium supplaments are for beardies specifically because they can be too much.Another piece of advice is instead of a substrate like sand or any of those I purchased ceramic tile and it is safer, keeps the nails filed down and is cheap and easy to clean! I take my beardie out when I clean his cage and we vaccum out his cage. When he uses the bathroom I simply take out the tiles that are messy and wash them with hot water and place them back in and he is good to go. We spent like 13.00 on the tile and we have a 75 gallon. We wont ever havee to replace any substrate so it has cut down on cost greatly! I hope this answer helps you. Do your research. I research all the time for new info and helpful tips. Also, beardies do not need belly heat as they like to bask up high most of the time. I have a heat pad and mine never used it so I just unpluggled it. They like to bask as close to the light as possible and so dont waste the money. An expert told me this as well. Good luck I hope this answeres your question.

looks good except for the sand they dont live on sand in the wild and they dont have the functions to deal with it and get impacted easily, relistically any loose substrate could kill your pet (i mean just google bearded dragons and impaction) if u really must use sand calci sand IS NOT DIGESTABLE, what ever it says on the packet, it has only been tested on sand desert species. bearded dragons (as im sure u know) live on something akin to baked clay so substrates like untreated floor tiles, lino, slate are good but repti carpet or kitchen roll are also good.

The only thing I wouldn’t get would be the heating pad, with the right lights it unneccesary.
