Well, I only saw the other posted this question before but I have a good answer, so I thought I could try. I am delighted über5’8 140 pounds. My ball speed is about 18 years and I throw a ball 12 lbs. AVG about 140-150 and I dish about 1-4 times a week. I do not think, throw a hook, but of course I would. That’s why I want this new ball. I have a few sales men talking, but they do not want to tell me that they simply want to sell me a ball. The ball that I have most is seeking aid Hammer Black Widow.Jede would be great. I do not really want, more than $ 300 in advance Thank auszugeben.Vielen

EBAY
go to bowlersparadise.com many bowling balls on sale at the end of the bowling season, and for a good price! many under $200
Ok it depends on what kind of hook you want to throw.
If you want a strong hook all the way through, then a Hammer Black Widow or Hammer No Mercy or an Ebonite Total NV would be the best choice.
If you want one with a strong hook in the backend and slide down the lane, then the Raw Hammer Series or the Ebonite The One series would be the best.
If you want a ball with a medium hook in the backend and carry down the lane, then the Ebonite SR300 and tornado series or the Columbia 300 Scout series are good choices.
If you are looking for new innovations in the sport when it comes to extremely hard hooking balls, then the Storm Jolt and Shift are excellent choices.
It really depends on the brand you want and how much you want to spend. Good luck on the Bowling Lanes!!!!!
Oh and if you are throwing your ball 18 and have a 12lbs ball then you might want to consider on going up a few pounds.

I purchase my bowling balls from Elite Bowling, bowling.com, bowlersparadise.com and bowlingballsales.com. They are informative as well as helpful with bowling ball selection and type of bowler/lane condition best suited for.
For someone that is learning the game, I would say that the Brunswick BVP line, which are low cost performance bowling balls are a great start. The Brunswick Mammoth and Wizard can be purchased for under $100 online. Brunswick has the new Fury, which is a performance bowling ball at around $109 to $125. The Hammer Black Widow is a great bargain at $125 online, but if you have $300, don’t kill yourself purchasing one performance bowling ball just because someone says so, and because a professional uses it. That’s the mistake bowlers make by thinking that an expensive bowling ball will improve their average automatically. Do some price comparisons and a lot of online window shopping. You can purchase a high performance bowling ball for way less than $300, and have the rest to use for upgrading your equipment.
Good luck in your search!
