I just moved into a cheap apartment near the Mojave Desert and in the city where I am, there is little m Wasserversorgung.Ich “running on a shoestring budget, so I try to maximize what can I do. It’s just me, I do not like much, but I’m saving the best money I can until I find a job is not in my field können.Das the problem, however. I’m not even an option for drinking water. There are no shops within a mile of me, and I have no car. (I have a bike.) I tried to call the company next to me who was in a town four miles away from me and they said they would not solve local water supply, so for the last week and a half I drank one-half cup of water from the toilet bowl I have. It is not as bad as I thought, but what other option I am here? I have a thermos I use to scrape the water I get after 10 washes (which is good for cleanliness, too). Does anyone have any ideas as possible for me? I can not take off, do not say that because, as I said, I’m on a tight budget, almost bankrupt. I’m with the apartment that I almost decent in the desert. What can I do? Please do something smart. I bet there are people with big ideas. Thank you.

If you can flush the toilet 10 times, you have plenty of water! you are wasting 15 or more gallons of water at that point.
Are there not any faucets? Isn’t there a sink next to the toilet? Don’t you have a kitchen?
At least take the water from the toilet tank, not the bowl, for crying out loud! In case you don’t know it, the tank is the rectangular object above the toilet bowl. Lift the top of the tank, and there is clean water in it.

Bill is right. Flush with dirty water. Or get a chemical toilet.
A reverse osmosis filter would allow you to recycle your water but that is too rich I guess.
