They need to cut it down to 10 or less like it used to be. No more "Feel Good Bowl" games given to mediocre teams just to make a buck and hand out a trophy to the 23rd best team in the country. There used to be the big games like the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl and the Gator Bowl. That was enough. To be honest the can scrap the whole thing and have an 8-12 team playoff system. There is not much debate on who the top eight teams are and you can have a real champion instead of a winner voted in by a stupid computer system. That month long wait to play for the title should be filled with playoff games. No… They need to cut it down to 10 or less like it used to be.

They would probably go with the best of the worst to get a game anyway. Now if a CONFERENCE doesn't have enough(remember some Bowl games are tied to Conferences) they just take a school from what is available.
