No animals, just supplies! Located in a major city, and primary focus will be dogs.
This is what I have so far (please let me know what you think!):
1. Food
2. Leashes, collars, food bowls, etc (everyday supplies)
3. OTC medications/vitamins
4. Dog baskets/bakery, treats, etc.
5. Services: pet sitting and dog walking
What else can we do to really make this store stand out from the rest???
(no grooming, and once again, we will not be selling/breeding animals).
Thanks!
Also, I’m looking for a really good supplier/vendor; if you know of one, please add! I’m looking into a few right now.

While your at it why don’t you have a dog clipping service?
Mabey you can have some classes for new owners… a small fee for learning CPR, or how to care for your pet, things to be cautious about in the garden, in the home… Just and idea
this will cost thousands…with the building and land…how about a grooming service in the store…training classes will make u money…a machine that can make dog tags and sell pets there too. and for the collars get all shapes colors and sizes which include harnesses for puppies. dog bakery sounds good like special dog cupcakes…u can find recipes online and i have on too:
get a yogurt cup and fill half of it with lowfat plain yogurt and the other half peanut butter…put it in freezer all night and u have doggie frozen yogurt.
Hard to find items like nice and very cute clothes. Grooming supplies, Meds,Whelping kits, safe toys for puppies,You have to have goats milk. It’s hard to find for me. Little thing to give to pet lovers ext. key chains, flags for the yard with type of dog on it, and so on, Designer stuff for pets.
