I love rap! Depends on the song but I usually go for Pop Rap that’s because that isn’t as much boring as regular. I really and truly dislike Eminem and Nas. Both are to boring and talk about their life and i don’t like that. Eminem doesn’t even have passion for music so I don’t know why here’s here, The only song I like from is Smack That which is Akon’s song.
because they think all it talks about is defying females and utter remarks. i like some rap, but not hardcore gangsta stuff. easy listenening is what makes me feel good, not hearing about ppl getting killed or country music( which i hate).
i know what you mean, there is a lot of very deep and meaningful rap. there is rap about that makes strong political points (e.g. Zach De La Rocha) however people will always be antagonistic towards it as it is associated with violence.
It is a sad fact that a lot of the popular rap out there is about guns, mysogeny, and materialism…. and the meaningful stuff does get ignored…
and by the way rap and hip hop and very much not the same thing… of course someone who would make such a statement needs to look a few definitions up in regards to music.
