Will the SEC end their football programs if the locations of the Bowl games changed?

Instead of lpaying all these bowl games in Orlando, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Atlanta, etc we should change it up for the next 20 years or so and see how well the SEC plays when they don’t get to play to their advantage and play on their home turf.

How about we play the bowl games in Cleveland, Pittsburg, Cinncinnati, Green Bay, New York and Boston for a while?

Yeah, add Dallas, El Paso, Houston, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Oklahoma City to that list too….

  2. baleno12002 says:

Good idea. Adverse weather conditions show how really good any team really is.

  3. just some dope says:

Well if you played football in those cities it would actually be FAIR and force the SEC to play football TOUGH and physically.

  4. LSUBalls says:

It’s too damn cold in January to go to those places….attendance would suffer dramatically.

Ducks are smart enough to head south for the winter…..are you insinuating that people are less intelligent than ducks?

And as per your last question, Ohio St would have had their asses handed to them vs Fla and LSU the last couple years if the games were played on Mars.

So send your beloved Suckeyes to Baton Rouge LA on Aug 30 to play a game if adverse condition are what you like. They wouldn’t make it till half time. The Baton Rouge Women’s clinic would be overflowing with heat stricken Ohio St players.

I like the idea of Green Bay in late December/early January….. It would be interesting to see a game like Michigan State vs Georgia there for sure.

im down for that so we can prove that no matter where we are the SEC is number 1! Im a bama fan but i guess im rooting for the gators anyway. ROLL TIDE!!!!

  7. nicholas_overby says:

Why would they play in these places when they are playing where the fans are. and where they play all year.

  8. Dashy says:

It’s not likely to happen but if it did, I’m certain the SEC’s football programs would not end.

yeah, it’s bull crap that the southern teams get a home field advantage. most people don’t realize how difficult it is to bring your A game when you have to travel half way across the country. on top of that, most northern teams are built to play in the cold. there is a reason why the spread offenses have not been successfull in the north, it is because the cold prevents them from having an effective passing game. i am all for a playoff!

  10. clone1973 says:

They wouldn’t end, but I hate the SEC and PAC 10 having “home” bowl games every year.
I love how people say it is “too cold” and attendance will suffer. I’ve don’t see too many empty seats in those NFL cities (Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, New England, etc.)
If you don’t like the the elements, go watch indoor soccer!!!

Build an Image put up the money get cooperate sponsors. Someone do the leg work put the wheels in motion. Do you know you have to make this happen no one is going to sit this in your Lap,
